日本言語テスト学会（JLTA）第25回全国研究大会を遠隔にて、下記の要領で開催いたします。皆さまのご参加並びに、大会テーマや言語テスト・評価全般に関連した研究発表、実践報告のご応募をお待ちしております。

今回は、基調講演・シンポジウムは英語でなされますが、日本語による発表も歓迎いたします。

発表時間は、発表20分と質疑応答10分です。「第一発表者としての発表は一人一回のみ可」で、第一発表者以外での発表回数には制限はありません。

The 25th Japan Language Testing Association Annual Conference (JLTA 2022) [online]: Call for Papers

The Japan Language Testing Association (JLTA) invites presentation proposals for its annual conference. We look forward to receiving your proposals related to the conference theme and to language testing and assessment in general.

At this year’s conference, the keynote speech and symposium will be presented in English. However, as usual, we welcome proposals for presentations in Japanese, too.

Each presenter will have 20 minutes to present his/her research paper or assessment practice report, followed by a 10-minute discussion. Note that each participant can present multiple times, but only once as the first presenter.

Research related to language testing and assessment that clearly states the study purpose, methodology, analysis, and interpretation of the results

 

Assessment practice report

Report on assessment practices, including language tests, language program/curriculum evaluation, and assessment for teacher development, etc.

 

Presenters of both types will have 20 minutes each to present their research papers or assessment practice reports, followed by a 10-minute discussion.

【概要】英語を聞いて、適切にメモを取り、そのメモを基に原文を復元するディクトグロスは、ここ最近では日本の英語授業でも取り入れられるようになってきました。本例会では、その実践について実際にデモンストレーション形式で実施し、継続した活動成果を形成的評価の手段として用いることはできないかを検討していきます。

・Abstract：Dictogloss, the process of listening to English, taking appropriate notes, and reconstructing the original text based on those notes, has recently been adopted in English classes in Japan. In this meeting, we will actually demonstrate the practice and examine whether it is possible to use the results of ongoing activities as a means of formative evaluation.

【概要】　近年、パフォーマンステストの検証において、発話データの活用が注目されています。しかし、発話分析に用いられる指標は、正確さ・流暢さ・複雑さ (CAF) などに限られる傾向があります。本例会では、CAF以外の分析方法及びテスト検証への応用例をご紹介します。また、発話データを実際に分析することを通して、発話分析についての理解を深め、テスト検証の視点を広げることを目指します。

  • Abstract: In recent years, there has been increasing interest in using performance data in test validation. The measures used for analyzing performance data, however, have been mainly focused on accuracy, fluency, and complexity (CAF). In this research meeting, participants will learn other types of analysis methods and gain experience through hands-on practice. We expect this would contribute to expanding our perspectives on how to validate performance tests.
